Rev. Jim Martin
Pastor
Pastor Jim was appointed to Lubeck United Methodist Church in July 2011. Previously, he served the Blackwater Charge United Methodist Churches in Tucker County, West Virginia. An ordained elder in the West Virginia Conference, Pastor Jim grew up in Clarksburg, and was baptized and nurtured in the faith at Temple United Methodist Church (Clarksburg). He received his Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology, Emory University, Atlanta, GA in 2004. Currently, the Pastor is leading a Bible Study (Companions In Christ), on Wednesday mornings, 10:30 am, in the library here at the church. His favorite Book of the Bible is The Letter of Paul to the Philippians in the New Testament. A special prayer concern for our Pastor are the people of South Sudan.
He and his wife, Betsy, enjoy their dogs, cats, and the outdoors. In his spare time, Pastor Jim loves fly fishing and tying fishing flies.

Harry and Joann Snyder
Church Custodians
Harry and Joann are the ones responsible for making our church look so beautiful! Aside from their ministry of service as our custodians, they are involved in the JOY Sunday School class (where Joann teaches once a month) and the Parkersburg South Gideons. Joann is a former Lubeck UMC treasurer, faithfully serving for 11 years. Harry is the current chair of trustees and treasurer for United Methodist Men. Joann's hobbies include decorating, crafts, and writing skits for church programs. Harry enjoys gardening and church upkeep and maintenance.
Keith Mayer
Youth Director
Keith Mayer has served as our Youth Director since 2007. He previously served as Youth Director from 1991-1994. He has been a member of Lubeck UMC since 1990. Aside from leading youth, he has been involved in leading a small group Bible study since 1999 and has taught various age groups. Keith currently teaches the senior high class. He works as a chemical engineer at Kraton and enjoys working with Boy Scouts, hiking, biking, and camping.
